TTS load cells can be used within a hazardous operation area by interfacing with a suitable zener barrier designed specifically for the purpose.
There are two manufacturers recommended by TTS whose products have been used many times in these types of application. TTS do not offer specific guidance as the subject can be quite complex. Both of the companies named below have the experts in this field and their products are well proven and embrace the certification to ensure safe operation.
